H.E.R.E. Journal Named to Cover Junkie's List of Unforgettable Magazine Covers

We're honored to share that H.E.R.E. Journal's debut issue has been recognized by Cover Junkie, the industry publication known for spotlighting standout magazine design. Designer Jeff Glendenning — a New York Times Magazine veteran now running Studio Glendenning — included our Issue 1 cover in his personal collection of 25 unforgettable magazine covers, alongside titles like Rolling Stone, Interview, and New York Magazine.

Glendenning's #1 pick was the New York Times Magazine's "Remains of the Day" cover — the original rendering of what would become the Tribute in Light memorial to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2021.

H.E.R.E. Journal is our 152-page print magazine exploring the Hudson Valley: its ecology, its people, and the places where the two meet, edited by Ann Marie Gardner. Issue 1 debuted this August and is available now.
