The Understory’s grant recipients are your grant recipients, as 100% of the dollars we raise are redeployed into communities throughout the region.
In 2025, The Understory (then Partners for Climate Action) used donations like yours to:
Award $450,000 in Ecological Restoration Grants to 23 organizations across the Hudson Valley.
Launch the pilot of our new year-long grant and training program, Funding Futures.
Host our monthly Morning Coffee Series, featuring topics important to the resilience of the Hudson Valley.
Lead numerous meadow and forest ecology walks that inspire local action to restore our native landscapes.
